Allan Waniala specializes in commercial litigation and arbitration and has undertaken specialised litigation training from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, the world’s premier continuing legal education provider of trial advocacy skills
He represents clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters in areas of law such as banking and financial services, technology, commercial contracts, construction, negligence and product liability, employment, transport, insurance, real estate and regulatory affairs.
Allan acts as litigation counsel for leading financial institutions in Uganda, an Africa-wide small-and-medium-enterprise financier, a world-leading sustainable forestry organisation, a railway concessionaire and a publicly-traded electricity distributor.
In 2017, Allan was attached as a secondee Associate at DLA Piper UK on international assignments and worked with DLA Piper’s Litigation and Regulatory practice group in London.
Allan is a member of the Uganda Law Society and the East African Law Society.
